Our Prices

At Rookery Meadow we don’t believe in corkage charges, peak rates or hidden costs. As your wedding is bespoke, how much you spend is entirely up to you, but our charge remains the same. We pride ourselves on giving you the time, attention and commitment you need, as well as a beautiful setting and lots of complimentary extras, for a fixed rate.

Weddings

Our ethos is to work with you to create the style of wedding that you want, whether that be a festival wedding in tipis, or a classic white wedding in a marquee. You may want to hold your ceremony under the oak trees, say your vows by the lake, or perhaps you are planning a church wedding and are seeking a wedding reception venue with a difference. The choice really is yours. Whatever your vision, hire of Rookery Meadow includes all the foundations you need to create something truly unique.

wedding hire includes

  • Exclusive use of Rookery Meadow for three days giving you access to the venue the day before and the day after your event to set-up, clear-down and celebrate
  • Separate meadow or yard for parking
  • Generator and fuel with all wiring to provide power
  • Lighting for walkways 
  • Signage
  • PA and microphone 
  • No corkage charge 
  • Unlimited free hire of props from the Barn of Curiosities
  • Minimum of three staff on the wedding day to ensure things run smoothly

We will also…

  • Source suppliers, secure a quote and negotiate a final price for you
  • Organise set-up and delivery of all equipment and amenities
  • Gain any appropriate paperwork from suppliers (e.g. insurance)
  • Be on-site to meet and greet suppliers for set-up and breakdown, before, after and during the day
  • Prepare a day plan and site plan and share this with your suppliers
  • Give you lots of energy and attention to bring your vision to life

Optional Extras

If you would like to hold your ceremony with us, or extend your stay with our glamping package, these optional extras might be for you.

Ceremony
£200

  • Choose your ceremony space - under the old oak tree, or beside the lake
  • Set up of your ceremony area to your requirements
  • Rustic arch
  • PA, speakers and microphone
  • Ceremony coordination
  • Help to source a professional celebrant, or freedom to choose a friend or family member to lead your ceremony for a more personal touch
  • Reception drinks service after the ceremony

Glamping
£300

  • Meadow camping space for yourself and guests (tents and camper vans welcome)
  • Bridal bell tent with wooden double bed for the bride and groom
  • Bedding and towels for the bride and groom
  • Comfort luxuries including hot water bottles, blankets, lanterns, and drinking water for the bride and groom
  • Private bathroom with hot shower and flushing toilet for the bride and groom

What’s not included

The cost of equipment, structures and amenities such as marquees or tipis, toilets, food and drink, entertainment is NOT included in the hire price and will depend on your personal requirements. You pay the supplier direct for these services. This ensures you have full control financially and creatively.

Every wedding at Rookery Meadow is unique. After our hire charge, what you spend on creating your perfect outdoor wedding is completely up to you. Most couples spend around £15,000 – £25,000 in all. We can help to get quotes for your bespoke creation.
